Following the swearing-in, the obamas will sit down for the customary inaugural luncheon, a tradition shared by nearly every president since george washington dined on lobster pie after the first inauguration. Now its true that obamas ancestors were not slaves. After his election in november our television screens were filled with scenes of african-americans crying with joy at the news.
